A total of 12 Cruziero players received a red card, including the goalscorer Kaio Jorge, who was seen throwing a punch at Atletico Mineiro goalkeeper Gabriel Delfim. A total of 11 Atletico Mineiro players received a red card, including Hulk, who is one of the well-known players in the Brazilian league for his past in Europe and with the Brazilian national team.
