Former Spanish FIFA AR Roberto Diaz Perez Del Palomar will be in charge of the assistant referees in Saudi Arabia.
Diaz Perez Del Palomar (47) used to be Mateu Lahoz's AR2 until they both retired in the summer of 2023. Former FIFA assistant referee (2008-2023), Diaz Perez had 449 matches in Primera Division and attended two FIFA World Cups (2018, 2022), one Euro (2020), one Olympic Tournament (2016), three FIFA U-20 World Cups (2013, 2015, 2017), two Champions League finals (2020 as AVAR, 2021 as AR) and two Europa League finals (2009, 2022).
