UEFA Euro Final 2024: Letexier (FRA)

The UEFA Referees Committee has announced that François Letexier from France will referee the UEFA EURO 2024 final between Spain and England, which will be played on Sunday 14 July at 21:00 CET at Olympia Stadion in Berlin, Germany. The 35-year-old Frenchman, an international referee since 2017, has already officiated at 65 official UEFA matches in his career. At this year’s EURO final tournament, he refereed three matches, including the Round of 16 match Spain-Georgia and two group stage matches Denmark-Serbia and Croatia-Albania, and acted as a fourth official at the opening match Germany-Scotland in Munich. Last season, Letexier took charge of ten UEFA club competition matches in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League and was the fourth official at the 2024 UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at Wembley. He was also the referee of the 2023 UEFA Super Cup between Manchester City and Sevilla FC in Piraeus, Greece. François Letexier will be joined at Sunday’s final by French assistants Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni, while Szymon Marciniak (Poland) will be fourth official. The video assistant referee (VAR) role has been assigned to Jerôme Brisard (France), assisted by Willy Delajod (France) and supported by Massimiliano Irrati (Italy).
